Some environmentalists said that it is urgent to manage urban environment based on its natural landscape or ecosystem. The consequences are;
  • Tree and shrub selection for particular parks should be referred to its native species
  • Catchment or wet land area should be reserved to ensure the municipal’s water stock
To trace back the original landscape or ecosystem, urban planner can use old pictures.
This job is not easy, but it is achievable.
